Just want to share some nice pictures of places in Langkawi during my honeymoon a few years back. I went back to Langkawi again last month, a few years after my honeymoon trip. But the experience is off course not as nice as the honeymoon. Sweet and unforgettable memories!

Sunset view at Tanjung Rhu Beach. While waiting for sunset, we had laksa (local noodles) and coconut drinks at one of the restaurant along the beach.

Until today I still don’t know whether the resort is operational or an abandoned project. The picture was captured from our room’s balcony at Awana Porto Malai hotel. Our room at Awana Porto Malai is very nice and cheap. I booked an ocean view room at RM150.00 per night.

A view from the top of Gunung Mat Cincang. It’s quite cold up there eventhough the height of the mountain at 708 meters above sea level doesn’t sound right to have the cooling effect.

Langkawi Cable Car. Entrance ticket where Malaysian has to pay RM15.00 for adults and RM5.00 for childrens. For foreigners, RM25.00 for adults and RM18.00 for childrens. I am Hypsiphobia (Fear of height) person. So, I was quite and sweating through out the short journey to the top. My wife really had a big laugh and tried to scare me by jumping inside the cable car.
